EoT
What Is Eot ?
The Electrification of ThingsTM (EoT), describes the network of physical objects - things - that produce, store, or run on electricity. Ex: EV chargers, solar panels, wind turbines, battery storage, electric vehicles, and microgrids.

How Does An EV Charger
Work?At its most basic, EVSE (electric vehicle supply equipment) also known as an EV charger transfers electrical current through it’s hardwire and software to deliver the proper electricity to an electric vehicle, just like any other appliance or device you charge by plugging into the wall.
How Does A Wind Turbine Work?
Wind turbines work on a simple principle: instead of using electricity to make wind—like a fan—wind turbines use wind to make electricity. Wind turns the propeller-like blades of a turbine around a rotor, which spins a generator, which creates electricity.
How Does Solar Panels Work?
When the sun shines onto a solar panel, energy from the sunlight is absorbed by the photovoltaic cells in the panel. This energy creates electrical charges that move in response to an internal electrical field in the cell, causing electricity to flow towards a device such as an EV charger or battery storage unit.
How Does Battery Storage Work?
Wind turbines work on a simple principle: instead of using electricity to make wind—like a fan—wind turbines use wind to make electricity. Wind turns the propeller-like blades of a turbine around a rotor, which spins a generator, which creates electricity.

How Does A Microgrid Work?
Microgrids combine devices like solar panels an wind turbines, with battery storage and software to provide a network of users with a local electricity supply source. Usually attached to a centralized national grid, microgrids can also function independently with renewable energy.
